I had the opportunity this past Saturday to preview a posh hotel located in Alexandria, Virginia. Hotel Monaco, a Kimpton property was fabulous and would be the perfect venue in Old Town, Alexandria to celebrate your nuptials. The decor was striking with hues of black, brown, burnt orange, cream, and gold. My tour of the hotel included a preview of the king and double rooms, which were plush and stylishly decorated. The bathroom was a sanctuary of black and white geometric patterns with a separate shower and jacuzzi tub. Hotel Monaco provides complimentary L'Occitane products for your indulgence. I've included a few photo's compliments of trip advisor. The hotel has high ratings by the way. I also had the opportunity to sample brunch in the hotel's restaurant Jackson 20. The BLT was excellent accompanied with hash browns, and green organic tea. The restaurant exclusively caters the special events held at the hotel.
